Nobody wants to trip a breaker right in the middle of the dinner rush. The honest trade-offs Look, carbon fiber is tougher than tungsten, but the outer shell is still glass. It handles the heat cycles like a pro, but if you whack it with a metal tray? It’s going to shatter. Handle them with care. There’s also the look of it. These don’t give off that bright, golden glow that halogens do. If your client is obsessed with the “aesthetic” of a glowing lamp, these might feel a bit dim. But if you’re looking for actual heat and a lower power bill? This is the way to go.
