If you’re running an MHM press, you already know the struggle. You need enough heat to cure the ink, but not so much that you scorch the fabric. It’s a delicate balance. When you stop using the factory lamps, you can’t just throw any “hot” bulb in there. It’s not about raw heat—it’s about the kind of heat. You need the right spectral output and wattage density to get the same results you had on day one. The nitty-gritty on power We look closely at the wattage-per-centimeter ratio. If your MHM uses shortwave infrared, we make sure the lamps match the original voltage and length exactly. Why? Because if they don’t, you get “cold spots.” Nothing kills a production run faster than realizing half your garments aren’t cured. We use high-density halogen filaments so the heat hits almost instantly. You can keep your line moving fast without standing around waiting for the dryer to warm up.
