What it really brings to the table
Here’s the thing: 400V at 2500W is all about packing a lot of heat into a small space. That combo gives you a fast ramp-up—like, noticeably fast. But with that kind of punch, your electrical supply has to be on the same page. Don’t wire it into a circuit that can’t handle the steady load. And the 300mm length? It’s a sweet spot. Long enough to spread heat evenly, but short enough to slip into spots where longer heating elements just won’t fit.
The guts of it
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz envelope with a carbon fiber heating element. The halogen cycle does two big wins: it keeps the element stable and cuts down on blackening over time. So the heat stays consistent, day after day. The R7s connector is a workhorse—built for high current and designed to make swaps straightforward. And the coating? It helps with thermal efficiency and keeps surface contamination from becoming a headache.
Where it shines
This tube was made for industrial heating where speed and a small footprint matter—plastic processing, packaging sealing, or upgrading ovens and concentrators. It delivers high heat in a compact form, sure. But that density means you’ve got to plan for proper cooling and thermal management.
