What makes it work
It’s 360mm long, runs on 220V, and cranks out 1200W of power. That means you get a lot of heat packed into a small footprint. It warms up fast and responds immediately when your process needs a rapid temperature shift. Here’s the neat part: it focuses the energy into a tight radiant field. The build that takes a beating
We chose a carbon fiber element because it holds its resistance steady, even after countless heating and cooling cycles. It handles rapid on/off switching far better than standard coils, which means fewer surprise burnouts when you’re running hard. The envelope is quartz, picked for how well it stands up to sudden temperature swings. It stays stable at high heat, and stays clear enough to let the infrared through efficiently. For the base, we went with an R7s. It slides into compatible fixtures with a solid, secure fit, and gives you clean, dependable contact so the power delivery stays stable.
Where it shines
This lamp is at home anywhere you need intense, focused heat: plastic processing, adhesive curing, component drying. The compact size lets you squeeze it into tight machine bays without redesigning the whole assembly. Now, let’s be real: 1200W means it runs hot.
