It lets the element run hot while keeping the current manageable for the wiring. And the size? Around 300mm long. That gives you a specific heat profile—a tight, concentrated hot zone right where you want it, instead of wasting energy on the surrounding area. The core is carbon fiber, housed inside a quartz envelope. Carbon fiber handles rapid heating and cooling far better than traditional tungsten, which means fewer burnouts when machines power up and shut down. Then there’s the halogen gas fill. It protects the filament from degrading, so the lamp lasts longer. The connection is an R7s, double-ended, linear fit. It’s simple, tough, and gives you solid contact. Installation is straightforward—just drop it in. Out in the real world, this setup gives you fast heat-up times and precise temperature control on the line. The high heat density is perfect for processes like PET blowing, where response time is everything. But there’s a trade-off: heat management.
